Breathalyser-proof wine-tasting

A common place exploded: a grappa tasting cannot take to exceed the alcohol limits that allow driving. The test has taken place at the end of the Tiramisu and Grappa evening, which has foreseen the tasting of four grape distillates. Cristina Miatello, one of the participants (and Paolo and Giovanni Brunello cousin), after leaving the distillery was stopped by a police patrol and was subjected to a breathalyser: negative result (and a huge sigh of relief).

On Wednesday December 9 we were guests at a special event in the Vatican Gardens for the presentation of the excellent brands of Vicentine food and wine, the VILLA Vicenza Luxury Lable brands. Joining us therefore will be Le Pignole Wines, Casa Berica cold cuts, Bedin bakery products, Abbadesse Rice Mill rice, and Prelibatesse truffles.

Under a solar panel roof

By the end of the year the sun will be shining on our new solar panels, 90 poly-crystalline and double inverter Solon Blue Modules. This installation will permit our new business to run on alternative energy. The panels will furnish the distillery with 19800 kw.

We welcomed the television cameras of Sky at our Midsummer’s Festival (Festa di Mezza Estate), the event we organised last July in the courtyard of our distillery. Cristoforo Di Tella, presenter of the programme Antichi Sapori, has interviewed us to have details about our company, products and story. He has drunk to the birth of the two new grappas of ours: “La Scura” (the Dark Grappa) and “La Scura Riserva” (the Dark Riserva).
